Medico-Legal Expert Coordinator (PA / Administrator)
North Manchester (M8 4JY) | Office-based
Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm & Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Ardent is a growing medico-legal consultancy supporting doctors who act as expert witnesses in clinical negligence and personal injury claims. We work closely with medical experts and solicitors to ensure cases are managed accurately, professionally, and in line with defined legal timeframes.

The purpose of the role

This role supports medical experts by ensuring their medico-legal cases are managed accurately, consistently, and in line with clearly defined processes and service-level timeframes.

The role involves a high volume of structured, detail-focused administrative work, where maintaining accuracy over repetitive tasks is essential to supporting legal cases and protecting professional standards.

What you’ll be doing

Setting up and managing medico-legal cases accurately
Managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Updating and maintaining case information using internal systems (CRM)
Uploading, checking, and organising medical records and documentation
Communicating professionally with solicitors and medical experts
Managing tasks in line with agreed processes and service-level timeframes
Carrying out high-volume, process-driven administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency across all cases

Training & support

Structured onboarding and competency-based training
Dedicated buddy support
Gradual allocation of responsibility as confidence and capability develop
Clear guidance, processes, and expectations from day one

What’s on offer

37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (9am–5pm)
No evenings or weekends
33 days annual leave including bank holidays
