Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your expertise in food service, culinary knowledge, and hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests. This position offers a dynamic environment where your enthusiasm and professionalism will shine, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are accommodated
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely delivery of orders
Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, striving to resolve issues with professionalism and care
Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant serving roles with a strong background in hospitality
Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Basic culinary understanding to assist with food preparation when necessary
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
Familiarity with kitchen operations and experience in a culinary setting is a plus
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
