Full job description

Overview

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:

· Passion for learning and development.

· Customer focused approach to everything you do.

· Working within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

· Previous fork lift truck experience essential.

· Able to work as part of a team, but also to be able to work unsupervised.

· Good communication.

· Adherence to on-site health and safety protocols always

· Be focused and able to maintain concentration.

A flexible approach to work is expected including requests to work additional hours as and when necessary, will be a feature of the position.

Responsibilities

The main functions of the role will include:

Loading of wagons.
Picking & Packing material
Transporting material around the site.
Stock taking.
Keeping the warehouse tidy and in order.
Use of SAP desirable
Role requires DBS check prior to hire.

Experience

Whilst full training for the position will be provided, ideal candidates should have the following attributes:

Punctual, hardworking and eager to learn.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail is essential.
FLT Certificate essential (Counterbalance).
Some IT skills would be an advantage.
SAP knowledge preferable but training can be given.
Previous experience is preferable, ideally in a similar role.
Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling, picking & packing processes, and forklift operation.
organisational skills and logistical expertise.
