Join us at Bransby Horses as an Equine Welfare Assistant Weekender

Location: Bransby, Lincoln

Closing Date: Sunday 12th July 2026

Interview Date: Tuesday 21st July 2026

Summary of the Role

We are currently looking for part time weekend Equine Welfare Assistants.

Rota includes Saturdays and Sundays, 15 hours per week.

Spread across five specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion, has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter. Please see the job description for further information about the role and how you could use your skills and experience to support the team.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following:

a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
at least 1 years previous experience of working with equines
good communication skills and works well as part of a team
sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
demonstrable handling skills with a good health and safety awareness
a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role
