Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumber to join our team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in both residential and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring high standards of service and safety.

Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various properties
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks accurately
Conducting inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing infrastructure
Assembling and fitting pipes, fixtures, and appliances with precision
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Applying basic maths for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installations or repairs
Collaborating with team members on complex projects requiring carpentry or mechanical skills
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in both commercial and residential environments
Proficiency in welding, carpentry, assembly, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components and systems
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during installation or repair tasks
Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and problem-solving within plumbing projects

This role requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety protocols. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, practical skills, and a proactive approach to their work.

Pay: £40.00-£60.00 per hour
