Hours: Zero hours, variable shift (days and nights)

Join Our Team as a Support Officer / Control Room Operator

The Support Officer / Control Room Operator plays a key role in supporting the safe, secure and professional delivery of events and day-to-day security operations, while also contributing to a positive customer experience for employees, clients, visitors, contractors and guests.

About the Role:

As a Support Officer / Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for:

Engage confidently, professionally and positively with employees, clients, visitors, contractors and guests, ensuring a welcoming and reassuring security presence at all times.
Deliver a high standard of customer service by assisting with directions, visitor queries, queue management, event flow, front-of-house activity and general support where required.
Conduct regular patrols, checks and site observations, ensuring that any concerns are reported promptly and appropriate action is taken
Operate CCTV systems to monitor internal and external activity around the premises in line with the Client and Wilson James CCTV policies and procedures.
Operate within the Security Control Room, ensuring the security of the room, its equipment, systems, records and data.

What we are looking for:

Door Supervisor Licence
CCTV Licence
Previous experience in a security, control room, customer service, hospitality, events or front-of-house environment.
Excellent customer service and engagement skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of people.
Good observational skills and the ability to identify, assess and report potential risks or concerns.
Ability to manage confidential information and security-related data with discretion and professionalism.
