Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team.

As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our patrons.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and assisting with food service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, wines, and soft drinks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking orders and answering queries about the menu.
Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies when necessary and ensuring proper storage of food and drink items.
Adhere to food safety regulations and health standards to ensure the safety of all customers.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required.
Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred and candidates need to be 18 or older
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction are crucial for this role.
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues create an enjoyable working environment are essential traits for success in this position.
Own transport is essential due to our location as we are not on any public transport routes.
