Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional waitstaff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanour are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve meals and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service.
Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods.
Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.
Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is desirable.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
Guest service orientation with a friendly, approachable manner.
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
