Full job description

JOB PURPOSE

This role is for a Box Office Sales Assistant role - To work a mixture of day and evening shifts - 16-24 hours

To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests. To liaise with all departments organising and distributing relevant and requested information. Increasing the revenue for the venue by promoting the sales of tickets and events.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail

* Deal with customer financial transactions – balancing tills at the end of your shift and submitting with financial reports.

* Deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner

* Keep up to date with current promotions and pricing, to provide information to customers, on request, while maximising all show and venue sales opportunities

* Complete all daily administration tasks as required

* Manage and maintain the administration of all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy

* Provide reports, as required, for all departments and management

* Maintain effective communication, at all times

* Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks

* Always adhere to all company policies and procedures

* To confidently up sell our many additional products- inbound and outbound sales

* Provide reports as required for all departments and management

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.85 per hour
