Engineering Company

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to join our busy engineering company and play a key role in keeping our office operations running smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, reliable and confident managing a varied workload. You’ll work closely with engineers, the shopfloor manager, customers and suppliers, providing essential administrative support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the engineering and management teams
Manage emails, correspondence, filing and general office communications
Prepare reports, documents, quotations and other business paperwork
Maintain accurate records
Assist with purchase orders, invoices and supplier administration
Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
Support the Shopfloor with administrative and organisational tasks
Monitor office supplies and coordinate general office requirements
Help ensure company procedures, records and documentation are maintained accurately
Provide additional administrative support to the wider team as required

About You

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in an office administration role, ideally within an engineering, construction, manufacturing or technical environment.

You will be:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
A clear and professional communicator
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
Practical, dependable and willing to take ownership of your responsibilities
Able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment

Previous experience working with engineering projects, technical documentation, purchasing, invoicing or project administration would be an advantage.
