Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at various events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all attendees and staff. This role involves supervising security personnel, implementing surveillance procedures, and coordinating loss prevention measures to maintain a secure environment. Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel during events to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the venue.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
Oversee access control procedures, including ticket checks and crowd management.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid if necessary.
Enforce event policies and safety regulations in collaboration with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Prepare detailed reports on security activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
Train new security staff on company protocols, surveillance techniques, and emergency procedures.

Experience

Proven experience in security supervision or management within large-scale events or venues.
Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
Certified in first aid and emergency response procedures.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team of security personnel.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professionalism and discretion. This role offers a dynamic working environment where safety is paramount, requiring a proactive approach to security management. Pay: £12.21-£18.24 per hour
