As the Maintenance Operative at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring there is a safe and pleasant environment for all residents and employees, working closely with their teams to provide strong leadership and inspiration ensuring the highest service standards are achieved.

About Aria Court Care Home:
After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a sparkling 92-bedroom care home with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home-grown fruit and veg.

The kitchen team at Aria Court are award-winning and have even created their own cookbook full of their best recipes. As one of the leading residential care homes in March, Cambridgeshire, Aria Court offers nothing less than the best care for your loved one in a safe and comfortable environment.

About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Operative is responsible for ensuring all maintenance checks are conducted, and that the home is a safe environment for residents, team members and visitors whilst maintaining a high quality of service within the home.

Salary:
Competitive, depending on skills and experience.

Shift Pattern:
40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:
Coronation Close, March, England, PE15 9PP.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure that all minor repairs and plumbing are fixed within a timely manner.
Ensure that all electrical equipment, drainage systems and the boiler house is maintained and repaired if required.
Ensure that the decoration of the home is to the highest standard and snagging items dealt with in a timely manner.
Overall responsibility for carrying our weekly tests of the emergency systems within the home.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

Experience within a similar maintenance role, ideally within a healthcare environment, is essential.
Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of and competence in building maintenance.
Good computer skills in order to complete reporting duties.
