Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional service, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering a memorable dining experience for guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for culinary arts and hospitality management to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards.
Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement menus in collaboration with chefs, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
Collaborate with other departments such as events or bar services to deliver comprehensive guest experiences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a similar setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Demonstrable supervising experience with team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is desirable.
