Your Role

As Sous Chef, you’ll be a key leader within the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and develop the team.

You’ll:

Support and deputise for the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
Play a hands-on role in menu development, costing, and innovation
Help drive efficiency, profitability, and consistently high standards
Lead, train, and motivate the team, creating a positive and productive environment
Take ownership of key areas including stock control, rotas, and wage management
Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety standards

About You

You’re passionate about food and take pride in what you do, who thrives in a busy kitchen and enjoys developing others.

You’ll bring:

Experience in a fast-paced, fresh-food environment
A positive, hands-on approach and strong team ethic
Creativity and a desire to contribute ideas
Excellent organisation and calmness under pressure
Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)

Work-Life Balance

4 days out of 7
Approx. 45 hours per week
A structured rota with flexibility where needed
