Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Mentor to inspire, guide, and support young individuals in their personal and academic growth. As a Youth Mentor, you will serve as a positive role model, fostering a safe and encouraging environment where youth can develop essential life skills. Your energy, empathy, and commitment will help empower youth to reach their full potential and build confidence for the future.

Responsibilities

Build trusting relationships with youth through active listening, encouragement, and mentorship.
Develop engaging activities that promote social-emotional learning, teamwork, and personal development.
Provide guidance on educational goals, career aspirations, and life skills to help youth make informed decisions.
Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to support each youth’s individual needs.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to motivate continued growth and achievement.
Facilitate group discussions and workshops focused on self-esteem, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and any incidents or concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with children or adolescents.
Strong understanding of youth development principles and best practices in youth work.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
Experience working with children with special education needs is highly desirable.
Ability to create a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect and positive behavior.
Passion for empowering youth and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
