Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within our premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service. The position is paid and suitable for those who are eager to contribute to a positive atmosphere through efficient domestic support.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
Organise and maintain storage areas, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and accessible.
Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens.
Support with light maintenance tasks as required to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the environment.
Manage scheduling of cleaning routines and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by responding politely and efficiently to requests from staff or visitors.
Use Microsoft Word and Outlook to document activities, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with team members.
Demonstrate leadership qualities when supervising junior staff or coordinating cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

Proven organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general IT skills.
Experience in hospitality or management roles is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Previous experience in domestic cleaning or related roles is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate.
