Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support across various departments, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong organisational skills to contribute to a professional environment. The position is paid and ideal for those looking to develop their administrative expertise within a dynamic organisation.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
Assist with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Excel
Schedule appointments and organise meetings, including booking rooms and preparing necessary materials
Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and distributing documents
Maintain accurate records of transactions and correspondence in line with organisational procedures
Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations

Requirements

Proven office or administrative experience demonstrating organisational ability
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with data entry and familiarity with Excel is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and written communication
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
