Full job description

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Part Time Door Supervisor for a late night cocktail bar in London West End, 17:00 hours to 01:00 hours every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at the venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations.

Duties

Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
Manage crowd control during busy periods to maintain order and safety.
Welcome guests in a friendly manner and communicate via radio to the host.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of patrons.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and report any issues to management.
Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
Must be available to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Experience

Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred
Certification in first aid is advantageous.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
