Curtain/Blind Installer

At Bridge we supply and install curtains, blinds and soft furnishings to a wide range of commercial residences, from hospitals to hotels and all types of accommodation in between.

The Curtain/Blind Installer will report to the Installations Manager.

The role:

Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and curtains, using appropriate tools and techniques in commercial residences and public buildings across the UK.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
Perform minor electrical work related to motorised window treatments as needed.
Conduct painting touch-ups post-installation to ensure a polished finish.
Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all tools are accounted for after each job.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, and ensure a timely resolution.

Your skills:

Interest in carpentry or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for installations.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous for installing motorised window treatments.
Ability to read instructions and measure for new blinds
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both clients and team members.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while performing installations.
A valid driver's licence is essential for travel between job sites.
