We are looking to recruit a Compact Sweeper Driver to join our existing team based at West Park, Macclesfield. The position is for 37 hours per week, with a 6am start Monday to Friday.

About you

We are looking for somebody who will be committed to providing an effective frontline service to the residents of Cheshire East in a courteous and professional manner. You will be expected to undertake a range of tasks but predominately the operation of a compact mechanical sweeper (4.5 tonne) along with litter picking, emptying litter and dog bins, the removal of fly tipped waste, fly posting and graffiti when required.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a full UK driving licence category C1 and valid Driver CPC qualification card.
Have experience in operating compact mechanical sweepers, however full training will be given.
Complete daily driver vehicle checks.
Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather and exert physical effort for much of the working day
