We are part of a leading, and dynamic group of hospitality businesses that have gone from strength to strength in recent years, and we are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our wedding and corporate events venue, Citation.

We pride ourselves on delivering first class banqueting experiences for our guests, and our mission is to be the very best at what we do. We specialise in creating luxury private events for our clients and we are searching for a Senior Sous Chef to join the team and deliver the same level of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen

· Collaborate with the culinary team to create and prepare high-quality dishes

· Ensure food preparation and cooking processes are executed efficiently and according to recipes and standards

· Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed

· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations

· Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed

· Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals

Experience:

· Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting

· Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent leadership and communication skills

· Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes

· Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
