Job Type: Service & Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Manager

Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week

Location: PSI Belfast

Salary: Based on Knowledge/Experience, circa £37K to £40K

About the Role:

PSI Production is seeking a highly organised and proactive Service & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Manager to oversee and coordinate service operations across all company locations, including Belfast, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

This role is critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of maintenance services, efficient scheduling, and excellent customer service across multiple regions.

While experience within our industry is advantageous, it is not essential—we are looking for someone with strong operational, planning, and coordination skills who can quickly adapt and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all PPM schedules, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with service agreements
Oversee service engineers and subcontractors, allocating resources efficiently across all locations
Organise and coordinate training programmes for service staff, ensuring skills, certifications, and compliance are kept up to date
Act as the primary point of contact for service-related client enquiries
Ensure all service visits are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, reports, and compliance documentation
Support the planning and execution of reactive maintenance alongside PPM activities
Work closely with internal teams (operations, sales, and finance) to support business objectives
Travel between locations (Belfast, Edinburgh, and Dublin) as required to support operations and team coordination

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a service coordination, facilities, maintenance, or operations role
Strong organisational and scheduling skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Experience managing engineers or field-based teams is desirable
Knowledge of PPM systems or maintenance planning tools is advantageous
Industry knowledge is preferred but not essential
Full clean driving licence.
