Sous Chef
Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire
£14.00–£15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time – 45 hours per week
Evenings & weekends required

We’re looking for a strong, hands-on Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistently great food in a fast-paced, quality-led environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is ready to take ownership, support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and work closely with the leadership team to continue improving standards, systems and service.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you’ll work alongside the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, excellent food quality and strong kitchen organisation.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting and leading kitchen service
Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
Managing prep, stock and ordering processes
Supporting menu development and seasonal changes
Training and developing junior team members
Maintaining food safety and kitchen compliance
Helping manage labour and kitchen efficiency
Taking responsibility for kitchen operations when required

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie
Works well under pressure and leads by example
Has excellent organisation and communication skills
Takes pride in consistency and attention to detail
Understands food cost control and kitchen systems
Wants to grow with an ambitious independent business

What we offer:

£14.00–£15.50 per hour depending on experience
Guaranteed 45 hours per week
