Lettings Negotiator

Rochester Place Ltd is a well-established independent estate agency specialising in residential lettings and property management across North and North West London. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, knowledgeable and personal service to landlords and tenants alike.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lettings Negotiator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the property industry and work within a busy, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Register and qualify prospective tenants.
Arrange and conduct property viewings.
Match applicants with suitable properties.
Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and tenants.
Progress agreed lets through to move-in.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
Generate new business opportunities and landlord instructions.
Follow up on enquiries from property portals, telephone calls and email enquiries.
Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
Assist in marketing available properties and promoting the Rochester Place Ltd brand.
Keep up to date with relevant lettings legislation and industry best practice.
Work towards individual and team targets.

Skills & Experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Professional and confident manner.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Full UK driving licence.
Access to a reliable vehicle for business use.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Desirable

Previous experience within residential lettings, estate agency, property management or a sales environment.
Knowledge of the North and North West London property market.
Understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
