Not all hospitality jobs feel the same—this one definitely doesn’t.

If you love local drinks, good conversation, and working in a proper Dartmoor pub, we’d love to meet you. Set in a 13th-century thatched inn, the Bearslake isn’t about fast, transactional service. It’s about cosy fires, a fantastic beer garden, incredible local produce, and a team that genuinely looks out for each other.

What You’ll Be Doing

Crafting and serving local ales, spirits, hot drinks, and wine with care.
Welcoming regulars, locals, and moorland walkers with a warm, relaxed energy.
Keeping the bar, cellar, and garden service areas clean, organised, and fully stocked.
Working side-by-side with the kitchen and floor team to keep service running smoothly.
Sharing the stories behind our local drinks and food with interested guests.

Who We’re Looking For

Friendly, energetic team players who take pride in doing things properly.
Great communicators who enjoy chatting with guests.
Experience behind a bar is a bonus, but the right attitude matters far more; we can teach you the rest.
