Warehouse Assistant

Location: Parksafe Group, Nottingham
Department: Operations & Logistics
Reports To: Warehouse Manager/ General Manager

Role Overview

Parksafe Group is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
Store products in designated warehouse locations.
Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes.
Ensure orders are processed and dispatched within required timescales.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
Conduct regular stock counts and cycle checks.
Report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
Support stock organisation and warehouse housekeeping.
Inspect products for damage and quality issues.
Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Assist with returns and warranty processing.
Support other departments when required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Previous warehouse or stores experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organisational skills.
Basic computer literacy.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable

Experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
Experience within an automotive, electronics, or distribution environment.
