Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical work who are committed to delivering high-quality service.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose faults efficiently.
Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation.
Document work performed and report on any issues requiring further attention or specialist intervention.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience operating power tools safely and effectively.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Relevant qualifications such as a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
