Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across welfare facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. The position is paid and requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Duties

Perform regular cleaning of welfare facilities, including toilets, washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
Disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to maintain hygiene standards
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
Ensure waste is disposed of appropriately and bins are emptied regularly
Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any maintenance issues
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities
Record completed tasks and report any concerns or damages to management promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
A proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment for all users
