Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspiring and guiding participants through various sports activities, fostering teamwork, and promoting healthy lifestyles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop coaching skills while making a positive impact on individuals of all ages and abilities. The position is paid and suitable for those with a genuine interest in sports and teaching.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions across a range of sports programmes
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to participants of different skill levels
Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play among participants
Monitor participant progress and offer constructive feedback to support their development
Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Organise equipment and prepare venues for training sessions and competitions
Foster a positive environment that motivates individuals to achieve their personal best
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and feedback

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines and coaching techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Organised with the ability to plan sessions effectively and adapt to different groups’ needs
Passionate about promoting active lifestyles and healthy living
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required
