Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that every drink and dish meets our high standards. This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality.
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and addressing customer inquiries.
Operate cash registers, handle payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Keep inventory stocked by monitoring supplies and placing orders as necessary.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
