Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills while working in a dynamic setting. All roles are paid, including internships, and are ideal for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly to customers in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas as required
Support colleagues during busy periods to deliver seamless service

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a positive attitude towards customer service
