Reception Administrator JGW+

Salary banding: £24,480

Location: Port Talbot (Onsite)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm

About the role

As a Reception Administrator, youll support the reception and administrative function of the team, completing administrative tasks, answering telephone calls and updating systems with relevant information.

Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that provides work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability and supporting job creation in various sectors.

Your impact

Handle incoming calls, directing them appropriately and ensuring efficient call transfers.
Relay messages to the appropriate staff members promptly.
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
Perform general office tasks, including filing, photocopying, and faxing.
Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
Adhere to centre security protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Assist in processing learner allowances.
Greet and assist visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner.
Oversee meeting room bookings, optimizing space usage to meet business needs.
Support the wider administration function of the business as required.

What are we looking for?

Essential

Minimum two GCSEs Maths and English (Grade C and above)
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company)
