Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Office Administrator/Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our office. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for visitors, clients, and staff alike. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster an efficient, professional environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Experience managing an office in a busy scrapyard or a similar role is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing exceptional phone etiquette and customer service.
Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments with professionalism and clarity.
Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks as needed.
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mailings, and deliveries.
Assist with clerical duties like filing, photocopying, scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies inventory.Skills
Proven office experience with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks.
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multiple lines professionally.
Demonstrated administrative experience with data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong typing skills to ensure quick and precise documentation.
Familiarity with clerical procedures such as filing systems and record keeping
Be able to run the office in a busy scrap metal yard
keeping up to date with the log books of numerous vehicles and multiple VAT receipts

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,372.75 per year
