Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a Construction Site Supervisor to be based on our project site in High Wycombe.

If you are looking to start your career our Early Careers programme will give you the opportunity to develop and grow via an apprenticeship. You will get paid whilst you gain job specific training and experience and will join a team who are committed to providing highly competitive design, build and maintain solutions for our customers in the data center, pharmaceutical and life science markets.

What you will deliver?

The Construction Site Supervisor Apprentice will work alongside our Construction, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to gain hands on experience and site based learning at a Data Center project. The successful candidates will be enrolled with an approved training provider to study the Construction Site Supervisor Level 4 apprenticeship focusing on risk assessment, sustainability, construction methods, project management and quality control.

Working alongside an experienced team the key task you will be involved in are:

Assist site supervisors with day to day site operations
Monitor and support on-site works to maintain safety and quality
Coordinate deliveries and subcontractor activities
Help enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site
Support reporting and documentation tasks related to site progress
Engage with various stakeholders including clients, suppliers and site personnel
Attend workshops, and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible
Taking ownership and responsibility
Be aware of health and safety requirements in all aspects of the role.

The Construction Site Supervisor Level 4 apprenticeship will be over 36 months.

Who are we looking for?

3 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above including Mathematics, English and a Science or equivalent or relevant experience
Good problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Due to the location of study and work, it is preferred for the candidate to have a driving licence
