Full job description

Reading based flooring wholesaler is looking for a new member to join their team.

You would be part of a small, versatile crew and would be required to work in different areas of the warehouse, performing a variety of tasks, so no day will be a dull day.

The position is full time and permanent.

Usual working hours are 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, but some Saturday work will be required.

The job can be fairly physical, so you have to be reasonably fit.

Van driving experience and/or reach truck forklift licence would constitute advantages for prospective applicants.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Load and unload a variety of flooring related items into and from vehicles
Prepare orders for customers and help load them into their vehicle
Maintain the warehouse clean and tidy
Assist customers and colleagues
Use or learn to use reach truck forklifts
Occasionally go out for deliveries in a long wheelbase van

To qualify for the job, you need to have:

Good command of the English language
Ability to work unsupervised
Good accuracy and organisational skills
Good work ethic and be reliable
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Right to work in the UK
