Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team cleaning families homes. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential to facilitate travel between sites. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations
Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests from management
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
Assist with organising cleaning schedules and prioritising tasks effectively
Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Valid driving licence is essential for travel between multiple sites
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional manner
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety standards

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
