Facilities Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Company car/ Car allowance (£650pm) + market-leading benefits
Home based with Nationwide travel
45 Hours per week working Monday to Friday; flexible

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to take ownership of our building compliance, maintenance, and sustainability agenda across our UK operations.

About the role

The Facilities Manager is a key role responsible for ensuring our workshop estate and head office facilities are safe, compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose. You will also play a leading role in driving energy performance and supporting our ISO 50001 ambitions.

Who you’ll be working for

NRG Riverside is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing specialist vehicles on short- and long-term hire, flexible hire solutions for operational continuity, comprehensive maintenance and support packages and large, high-quality portfolio of used vehicles for sale.

Established in 1996, we support customers to rationalise and decarbonise fleets, reduce costs and minimise Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time. Our reputation is built on operational understanding, reliability and long-term partnerships.

What kind of person are we looking for?

Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or similar role such as National Facilities Manager; Regional Facilities Manager; Senior Facilities Manager
Strong knowledge of building compliance and maintenance management (CDM Regulations)
Experience in energy management and sustainability (ISO 50001 desirable)
Project management experience, ideally including new site mobilisation
Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel nationwide

What you’ll be doing

As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance programmes across all sites
Ensuring building compliance, including fire systems and coordination of LOLER & PUWER requirements with EHS
Acting as the key contact for landlords, including lease management and licences to alter
Managing energy suppliers and driving energy efficiency initiatives
Monitoring energy usage and supporting carbon reduction strategies
Overseeing physical security systems (CCTV, access control)
Leading facilities-related projects, including new site setups
Ensuring CDM compliance across all projects
Managing contractors across FM and EQHS services
