Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector while working in a welcoming atmosphere. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience is not essential but beneficial.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
Manage multiple orders during busy periods with excellent time management skills to minimise wait times.
Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies and food safety standards.
Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Basic food preparation skills are preferred.
Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
