Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative with forklift experience to join our busy Scunthorpe Distribution Centre.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining forklift driving with warehouse and dispatch responsibilities. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock is moved safely, customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time, and the warehouse operates efficiently day to day. Your Responsibilities

Safely operate an articulated forklift truck
Use a counterbalance forklift when required
Accurately move, handle, and store stock throughout the warehouse
Load and unload deliveries using FLT
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Print courier labels and prepare shipping documentation
Coordinate daily dispatches to ensure orders leave accurately and on time
Monitor dispatch priorities and ensure courier deadlines are met
Assist with stock replenishment and regular stock takes
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment
Support the wider warehouse team wherever required
Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards at all times

What We're Looking For

Articulated forklift licence - preferred
Counterbalance forklift experience - essential
At least 2 years' experience operating forklift trucks
Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience
Experience with dispatch, shipping, or courier systems would be advantageous
Confident using warehouse systems and computers
Good level of English and basic maths skills
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude
A willingness to take ownership and support colleagues to keep operations running smoothly

Location & Working Hours

This is a full-time, warehouse-based role at our Scunthorpe Distribution Centre, located on Foxhills Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe, DN15 8QW.

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

This role operates on a two-week rotational shift pattern:

Week 1

Monday to Friday:8:30am – 5:00pm

Week 2

Sunday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

As this is a varied warehouse role, responsibilities may differ between shifts. We're looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and happy to support the wider warehouse operation when required.
