Full job description

Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career? We’re looking for a motivated and client-focused Client Advisor to join our successful SME Team at James Hallam Insurance Brokers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience, build strong insurer and client relationships, and develop their career within a well-established and respected insurance brokerage.

The Role

As a Client Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting and growing our SME portfolio, delivering exceptional service to clients while working collaboratively with colleagues and insurer partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

Promoting and supporting the SME Team internally and externally with clients, insurers, and third parties.
Managing day-to-day customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Processing policy adjustments and handling post and correspondence from clients and insurers.
Managing account queries and supporting effective credit control processes.
Issuing renewal terms promptly, with the aim of delivering terms at least 21 days prior to renewal.
Identifying opportunities to cross-sell products and services across the business.
Contributing ideas to improve team workflows and processes.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners, negotiating terms and pricing where appropriate.
Proactively discussing and offering additional cover options including:
Directors & Officers Insurance
Cyber Insurance
Engineering Insurance
Handling daily policy enquiries for existing clients and ensuring a consistently high level of customer service.
