Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting the overall guest experience. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for excellent service are essential. Barista experience and knowledge of food safety standards will be considered a plus. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
Provide friendly and attentive customer service throughout the guest’s visit
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Support food preparation activities as needed, adhering to food safety standards
Assist with organising reservations and managing waiting lists during busy periods
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is vital
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
Experience as a barista or in food preparation will be considered an advantage
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Organised with strong attention to detail
A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as required
