Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and possess a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for career development within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly to customers, ensuring correct orders are delivered promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
Take orders from customers, answer queries about menu items, and provide recommendations when needed.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
Restock bar supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly throughout shifts.
Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and uphold responsible alcohol service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer service excellence.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
A friendly personality with a professional attitude towards guest interactions.
