We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly nursing home team. Your work will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily cleaning duties across communal areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and staff spaces
Follow infection‑control procedures and maintain high hygiene standards
Use cleaning products safely and in line with COSHH regulations
Complete required cleaning documentation, including daily checklists, stock records, and incident notes
Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
Work as part of a supportive team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
Ensure confidentiality and respect at all times

What We’re Looking For

Previous cleaning experience (care home or healthcare setting preferred but not essential)
Understanding of COSHH and safe use of chemicals (training provided)
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Friendly, respectful, and committed to supporting a caring environment
