Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Timber Window and Door Spray Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to timber windows and doors using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surface. Your expertise will help bring craftsmanship and precision to our products, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall quality of our finished goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in finishing, fabrication, and assembly will be valued and developed.

Duties

Prepare timber surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint or stain adhesion
Operate spray finishing equipment safely and efficiently to apply coatings evenly on windows and doors
Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards to achieve consistent finish results
Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections, performing touch-ups as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials
Assist with assembly or fabrication tasks as required to support production flow
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills to support various finishing processes

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication techniques
Experience with construction painting or finishing processes preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications accurately
Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations during finishing tasks
Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management and material handling
Familiarity with assembly procedures related to window and door components
Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
