Full job description

Job Overview

As Floor Manager, you set the tone for every guest and team member experience through your warmth, kindness, professionalism, and presence on the floor.

Working closely with the wider management team, you will create an environment where people feel genuinely welcomed, supported, and inspired. You lead by example, building a positive culture that encourages teamwork, confidence, and a shared commitment to exceptional hospitality.

This role is at the heart of Dover Street Counter. We are looking for someone who is naturally caring, people-focused, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for both guests and colleagues.

Duties

Create an exceptional guest experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail.
Help build a positive and supportive team culture.
Lead service with confidence, warmth, and a hands-on approach.
Ensure clear and effective communication across all departments.
Support the recruitment, training, and retention of a strong Front of House team.
Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
Address guest and team concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Represent Dover Street Counter brand with pride.

Requirements

A genuine passion for hospitality and looking after people.
Previous experience in a similar leadership role within high-volume, quality-driven venues.
Warm and approachable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A natural leader who motivates through encouragement, support, and example.
Positive, calm, and solutions-focused under pressure

Join us as a Floor Manager to lead with energy, inspire your team, and deliver memorable experiences that keep guests coming back! We are committed to providing paid positions that support your growth in the vibrant world of hospitality.

Cash Incentives:

Loyalty Bonus - For every 6 months of service completed, the employee will receive a £300 cash bonus in their next pay check (hourly paid employees only).
£150 dining voucher after 6 months continuous service (redeemable Mon & Tue)
£10 contribution for taxis home for all staff who finish after last tube (Mon -Thurs& Sunday) 1 ride per day.
Introduce a star - £1,000 referral bonus. £500 payable after referral passing probation, and an additional, £500 after 6 months of work.
