Front of House Team Member (Server / Bar)

About Us

The Lamb is a small independent, food-led countryside pub with a focus on fresh, properly cooked food and warm, friendly service. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining high standards in both the kitchen and front of house. As a small team, every member plays an important role in delivering a great experience for our customers.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Front of House team member to join our crew.

What You’ll Do

Take food and drink orders, including alcoholic drinks (applicants must be 18+)
Run food and drinks to tables
Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, welcoming approach
Assist with bar service including pouring drinks
Help maintain a clean and organised front of house environment
Work independently and manage quieter shifts without supervision (applicants must be 18+)

Shifts

2-3 shifts per week
Includes:
One midweek evening
Regular Friday / Saturday

Pay

Minimum wage plus service charge paid weekly

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience
Confidence serving tables and interacting with guests
Ability to work independently when required
Someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy restaurant environment
Reliability – Saturday availability is required

Desirable

Bar service experience
Coffee-making skills
Basic wine or cocktail knowledge
Strong food knowledge
Interest in learning and developing within hospitality

Requirements

Hospitality experience preferred
Must be 18+ due to alcohol service
