Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prepper/Painter specializing in light commercial repairs to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to various commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes and durable results. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their appearance, and maintain the integrity of commercial structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in construction painting, and contribute to the upkeep of commercial environments.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
Apply paint, stain, or sealant using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on light commercial structures such as offices, retail spaces, or warehouses
Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups as needed to support overall project completion
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
Drive company vehicles to transport tools and materials safely between job sites
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during work activities

Requirements

Valid driving license with a clean driving record for safe transportation of tools and materials
Experience in construction painting or related light commercial repair work preferred
Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and proper surface preparation
Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and light repairs
Reliable transportation to reach multiple job sites as required
