Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Casual Event Staff to join our team for an event this Saturday (27th June). This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within the hospitality, catering, and guest services sectors. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanour, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in dynamic environments. All roles are paid positions, suitable for individuals seeking part-time or temporary work.

Duties

Welcome guests and ensure they receive courteous and attentive service throughout the event
Assist with food and beverage service, including setting up tables, serving dishes, and clearing after use
Support catering operations by preparing food items in line with food safety standards and event requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
Provide information to guests about event programmes or menu options as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events from start to finish
Handle guest enquiries professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced settings
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during specialised events as needed
Experience in hotel or culinary settings is a plus but not mandatory
A professional attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail
