Trainee Paralegal - Start your career in the legal sector
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (On-site)
Salary: £23,500 – £26,500 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

Case Preparation and Management: Assisting in the end-to-end management of legal files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted within strict judicial deadlines.
Substantive Legal Research: Conducting detailed research into case law, statutes, and regulatory requirements to support the strategic decisions of senior solicitors.
Drafting Legal Documents: Producing initial drafts of instructions to counsel, witness statements, and formal legal correspondence.
Client Interaction: Serving as a professional point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, and gathering necessary information with empathy and discretion.
Procedural Compliance: Developing a deep understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and ensuring all actions align with the highest standards of professional conduct.

Working Structure and Benefits

Salary: A competitive starting range of £24,500 – £26,500, reviewed annually to reflect your growth and contribution to the firm.

Additional Development: For those looking to accelerate their learning, there are optional opportunities to participate in weekend workshops or case review sessions on Saturdays. These are not mandatory but are highly valued by those looking to maximise their exposure to complex legal work.
Career Pathway: We focus on internal promotion. Successful Trainee Paralegals are positioned for future progression into Senior Paralegal roles or further qualifying pathways.
