Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidates will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is needed, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food service industry while working in a welcoming and dynamic setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide correct change
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation or organisation as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures and hygiene protocols

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and transactions accurately
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales is beneficial
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
